black white & gray

Sometimes we long for and love someone and yet we never really had the courage to speak up and say it out loud. Is it because of the fear of rejection? Do we hesitate because they may not reciprocate what we feel for them? Will we just contented with forever loving them from afar?

In the past I have failed miserably in letting the people I care for know how much they mean to me and how much I love them. And when the time came for when I finally mustered enough guts to do so, it was alas, already too late.

I said countless of times that I had to be strong and I will not shed another tear, but it was an arduous task given the fact that deep down inside I knew I was weak and crying all along.

I’m sorry if I had loved you the way that I did, for it was the only way I knew how.

The black and white have given in to the gray. There are no more hard and fast rules to follow.  The familiar short and narrow path is now filled with unrecognizable crossroads and long winding turns. And there is no turning back.

I now walk this journey alone.

"You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you." ~ Ray Bradbury. I tend to agree with Mr. Bradbury, although my writings steer clear from dystopia, I am a fan of Batman and the young Bruce Wayne … throughout this blog (if you stay long enough) you’ll come to understand what this mortal thinks of the world around her ... maybe you'll even agree.
